Copyright / DMCA Notice

Last updated: November 2026

APK Station respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid infringement notices submitted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or equivalent local law. We do not automatically remove content solely because someone reports it — notices are reviewed before action is taken. This formal notice process exists alongside, not instead of, our own manual review at submission time — content identified as infringing during that review is rejected or removed without waiting for a notice.

1. Filing a Notice

Email rakshitdembla@gmail.com with all of the following:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (including a registration number, if you have one).
  • The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content on APK Station.
  • A detailed description of the infringement — how the content infringes your work.
  • A statement, made in good faith, that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

A dedicated web submission form is coming soon; email is the current channel.

2. Removal Process

Valid notices are reviewed and, where verified, acted on within 24 hours — typically by disabling or removing the reported content and notifying the uploader. Accounts with repeated, verified infringement are permanently banned.

3. Counter-Notices

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice to the same address, including: your contact information, identification of the removed content and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court. Content is reinstated if the counter-notice is verified and the original complainant does not pursue further legal action within a reasonable time.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with copyright law, we terminate accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers. A single instance of confirmed, knowing infringement — not just repeated instances — is also grounds for immediate account termination at our discretion.

5. Advertising & Content Standards

APK Station displays advertising, including through Google Ads. To comply with advertising network policies, we hold all content — including developer-submitted apps — to a standard that prohibits copyright infringement, and advertising may be disabled on, or removed from, any page found to host or link to infringing content, independent of and in addition to the removal action described above.
