Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This policy explains what information APK Station ("we," "us") collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using APK Station, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we instead receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — we never see or store your Google password.

Developer information. If you apply to become a developer, we additionally collect your display name, country, website and social links, a description of your work, and a payment email — held on file for a future payout program if one is introduced; all downloads are currently free and no payouts are made today.

Usage and device data. We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and your app download history.

Content you submit. Reviews, app listings, and blog posts you publish are stored and displayed publicly as part of the service.

2. Google User Data

When you sign in with Google, we request only your basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) to create and secure your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google service. This data is used solely to operate your APK Station account — to identify you, personalize your profile, and enable sign-in — and is never sold, and never shared with advertisers or other third parties beyond what is described in Section 4 below. You can revoke APK Station's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to: operate and secure your account; process app downloads; respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; understand how the site is used so we can improve it (analytics); and show relevant advertising.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We use Google Ads to display advertising on this site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites — see Section 5 below for your choices. We use other third-party service providers (hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics) who process data on our behalf under their own confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to investigate fraud or security issues.

5. Cookies & Advertising

We use cookies for session management (keeping you signed in) and ad personalization. Essential cookies (like your login session) are required for the site to function; you can opt out of non-essential/ad-personalization cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how well parts of the site work.

We display advertising through Google Ads. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. Learn more about how Google uses data when you use sites or apps that use Google services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we must retain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your Rights

You can access or correct your account information from your account page at any time. To delete your account, email rakshitdembla@gmail.com — we don't yet have a self-service deletion button, so requests are handled manually. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to data portability and to object to certain processing — contact us to exercise these rights. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Sessions use secure, signed tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated on the site.
