Developer Agreement

This agreement applies to anyone approved as a developer on APK Station and applies in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Content Ownership
You keep ownership of the apps, mods, and blog posts you upload. By publishing, you grant APK Station a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform for as long as it remains published.
2. Rights & Authorization
You confirm that you own or have the legal right to develop, modify, and distribute everything you submit, and that doing so doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of your submissions.
3. Copyright Compliance
No direct pirated content. Mods must significantly transform the original work (e.g. new gameplay mechanics, new graphics, substantial original code) rather than simply repackaging someone else's app. Submissions that are little more than an unmodified copy of another app will be rejected.
4. Prohibited Content
No malware, spyware, or deceptive functionality; no content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative; no apps designed primarily to circumvent another platform's security or payment systems without authorization; no copyrighted material — code, assets, trademarks, or branding — submitted without the rights holder's authorization. This applies regardless of whether the submission is presented as a "mod" — see Section 3 for what distinguishes a legitimate mod from a prohibited repackage.
5. Review Process
Developer applications and app submissions are manually reviewed. Rejected applications include a reason and can be corrected and resubmitted. A "100% Safe / Verified by APK Station" badge, when shown, reflects our manual review process at the time of review — not a guarantee against future issues.
6. Pricing & Payments
All downloads on APK Station are currently free — there is no paid content and no revenue share in effect today. The payment email collected in your developer application is held on file for if and when a monetization program is introduced; we'll update this agreement with the specific terms before any payouts begin.
7. Removal Policy
APK Station removes infringing content upon a verified DMCA notice, and may remove, unpublish, or suspend any submission or developer account that violates this agreement or our Terms of Service, with a reason provided where practical. We do not wait for a formal notice where infringement is identified directly through our own review. Because this site carries advertising, including Google Ads, a submission found to carry copyright risk may also have advertising disabled on its page independent of any removal decision.
8. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this agreement from time to time; continued publishing after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
